Wind Orchestra Percussion Ensemble Performs ‘Bonham’

The Washington High School Wind Orchestra Percussion Ensemble performs a Class A percussion ensemble entitled “Bonham”, composed by Christopher Rouse.

This Class A percussion ensemble piece is a tribute to the late John Bonham, drummer for the band Led Zeppelin. This is probably the hardest percussion ensemble they’ve done, partially due to a very limited rehearsal schedule. They had this piece ready for solo and ensemble competition for 2025, but the event was cancelled due to weather.

Performing “Bonham” are Sam Comparda, Alex Klein, Michael Neel, Claire Grisak, Austin Grant, Ju’Elz Redvine, Dayton Allman, and Owen Petaros.

Thank you to Jason Rock for recording!!
