Basketball Band
The Basketball Band is made up of members of the Freshmen Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Orchestra. The Band rehearses once, and plays at a number of games throughout the basketball season. The band performs a variety of music before the game, during half-time, and during timeouts, taking a break during the third quarter.
Basketball Band is a low-stress, fun activity for everyone involved! Expectations are simple:
- Be respectful of everyone around you
- Be ready to play at the appropriate times
- Be on time and prepared for rehearsals and performances

Report time for all games is 6:30pm in the WHS band room, unless specified otherwise.

- Mandatory Rehearsal – Tuesday, December 10 @ 3:15pm
- Friday, January 10 – vs. Central Catholic
- Friday, January 17 – vs. Wooster
- Friday, January 24 – vs. Perry
- Saturday, January 25 – vs. Cleveland John Marshall (report time: 6:15pm)
- Friday, February 7 – vs. Lake (report time: 6:15pm)
- Friday, February 21 – vs. Akron Garfield (report time: 6:15pm)
