2019 MIS/MJHS Percussion Camp

The annual MIS/MJHS Percussion Camp was held June 10-14 at the Middle School Complex. This camp was attended by incoming 6th through 9th grade percussion students who spent the week working with Mr. Nussbaum and alongside former MTSB Drumline members.

During this week they learned how to play concert percussion instruments, marching percussion instruements, and drum set. They worked on rudiments, scales, rock/jazz beats and a percussion ensemble.  After a week of challenges and fun, the students performed a concert for their parents and guests, featuring “Walk Like an Egyptian”.
