Throwback Thursday Show

The Thursday night football game against GlenOak gave the Massillon Tiger Swing Band the opportunity for a little #tbt (throwback Thursday) action of their own.

This halftime performance featured a recreation of the 64 member "Bird Band" - the same band configuration and show as marched upon the arrival of George "Red" Bird in 1938.

The Bird Band was followed by the Bob Seger song, "Old Time Rock and Roll" and a medley of "South Rampart Street Parade" and "The Horse".

The show closed with a trainload of percussion as we paid tribute to our 'swing' heritage with the Benny Goodman classic "Sing Sing Sing"!
