Halftime at the Massillon-McKinley game saw the MTSB reprising their popular "Rhythm Show", featuring the "Stomp"-style 140 piece rhythm section!

The 122nd meeting between the Massillon Tigers and the McKinley Bulldogs kicked off on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Before the game got started, the Massillon Tiger Swing Band performed their traditional pregame show along with recognition of Senior band members, majorettes, and cheerleaders.

Each year, as we prepare to bid farewell to our Senior class, several members are given the opportunity to design, rehearse, and conduct a piece with the full MTSB. This year, five Seniors were chosen by their peers for this honor:
- Matt Boney
- Priscilla Klein
- Lea Lin
- Amanda Lint
- Sarah Lockwood
Each Senior chose the music, developed the routine, and rehearsed the band for their selection. On October 19, 2012, these Seniors performed their presentations at the halftime of the Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary game. Those performances were:
Matt Boney - Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple)
Amanda Lint - Great Balls of Fire (Jerry Lee Lewis) - featuring Senior Twirler Lauren Troyer
Lea Lin - Firework (Katy Perry)
Priscilla Klein - Dynamite (Taio Cruz) featuring Sarah Lockwood's drumbreak
